"The Result" is a 31' overall length Skagit Orca 27 XLC powered by a Volvo Penta 280 hp Turbo Charged Diesel engine. She can go over 40 mph!
I have been a Captain in Casco Bay for over twelve years. My wife Polly and I are raising our family on beautiful Chebeague Island. We saw that there was an opportunity to provide fun, safe and convenient transportation to all points in Casco Bay. With the assistance and expertise of the Island Institute we were able to make this business become a reality. In September, 2016 Chebeague Water Taxi, LLC was born . "The Result" is located at the Stone Pier on Chebeague Island. This makes us strategically located in the center of Casco Bay and offers a wide range of destinations.
If you want to go to the Royal River Grill, Dolphin Restaurant, Eagle Island, on a kayaking excursion, take a trip to the Chebeague Island Inn, your home or Summer rental on your schedule, call us to get you there in style! Let us take you on your perfect Casco Bay tour and help you see the magic of the Calendar Islands!
We Want You To Love Us! The Result is equipped with a reliable Volvo Penta 280 HP Turbo Charged Diesel engine reaching over 30 knots. She can be driven from the inside cabin, or if the weather is awesome I can join you outside while at the exterior helm station. "The Result" is equipped with a private bathroom with hot and cold water, refrigerator, insulated heated cabin and fully equipped with radar and navigational electronics.
Weather a little bad? No Problem! This boat is designed for rough weather providing a smooth ride. Is it a little cool outside? No Problem! Come inside the inviting cabin and have a seat on our couches and stay warm and dry in the heated cabin with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Is it a gorgeous day?! Then have a seat on the outside deck and enjoy the warm sunny day and fresh salt air.
